TopOCR is an Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software that supports digital cameras, scanners and smartphones, and can recognize 11 different languages.
This application has a user configurable camera filter that you can customize for a particular camera or smartphone. The OCR results can contain both image and text. It is compatible with MS Word or other word processor or can be saved in searchable PDF, plain text or audio through the Text To Speech Interface.
TopOCR contains both a full featured image editor/viewer and a word processor for saving and editing which includes an interactive spell checker.
